Flint River Dance Arts

What a privilege it was to be able to photograph this year's recital. Steve was thrilled to accept the challenge of photographing so much action in such a quick time!!! The dancers were amazing and hopefully these images will show just a glimpse of their beauty. It will take you to our proofing page. Simply click on the dance recital and enter your email address. Once you have entered your email you will be prompted for a password which is the the dance instructor's first name in all lowercase letters (After 30 years I am sure everyone knows it). You will then enter the first page of many. You can change pages at the top right of the screen. Each performance has a seperate screen. Steve was able to shoot over 1,000 images each night, specifically trying to get each dancer.

*** 2 things to note***

1. These images are performance images which means sometime the focus is slightly off and the lighting maybe harsh. However with any order which is placed online we will hand edit the images to enhance their quality as best as possible.

2. Although Steve made an attempt to catch every dancer at their best, it is not possible to predict and plan every move. So if somehow your little one's image was not of your favorite moment we are very sorry.

Because of these two considerations, we have drastically reduced our studio prices for these images. Image prices are:

4x6 images - $4.00 5x7 images - $7.00 8x10 images - $12.00

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

As They Grow....

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly theses little one grow up - the last time she came to she was so shy and scared...and now she is a big girl who laughed and played. Growing up is great for pictures but sad for Mommy and Daddy I am sure!!!!

See the precious baby with the tutu on...see ho she has grown!! She is still just as precious in her tutu...and if any of you know me at all you know how partial I am to tutus (especially since I told my two they could be anything they wanted for Halloween as long as it involved a tutu). Here is another one who was everywhere...full of life and full of energy (if we could only bottle it and sell it...) anyway as you will see in the and...candy always tames even the wildest child - and makes for the cutest pictures as well.

The perfect light for the perfect family

I love how this job allows me to meet new people all the time. This family is no exception!!! Not only are they all precious but I could set up my studio at there house and be perfectly happy with all of the beautiful places to shoot. This evening the lighting was perfect, the little one had a steady stream of jelly beans and magic happened!!!! Wait until you see the new little one - he is just as perfect!!!

What a fabulous family!!!!! Steve is always complaining that he is outnumbered - he has no reason to complain. It was so fun to photograph all of these beautiful girls each with their own unique personality and style. (Even the Mommy) Thanks L family - it was to much fun!!!!

Supermom Strikes Again...

I love this family!!!!!! When they come they are a bundle of energy and there is never a dull moment - I love how they are so comfortable and here personalities show right through. And once again here they were in the middle of football season...K you really are a supermom in my book!!!!!

A little doll

There has been a theme emerging in my blog posts lately...They grow so fast...This little one is no exception. I feel like I did her Mommy's maternity session just last week...not to mention her newborn session. and look at her now such a big girl!!!! It is hard to watch because it reminds me of how quickly my two are growing. So if you read this make sure to snuggle a little closer to your little one today and soak in all you can because tomorrow they will come home with a missing tooth...or even worse for you moms of seniors...they go to college. OH ME... how wonderful and sad all at the same time!!!! (Oh and Check out the fabulous Pettiskirts form MAM's Botique in Cairo!!!!!

The perfect age...

I so enjoyed playing with this little one - she is the exact perfect age for pictures right now, she can sit up but no crawl - Ohhhh is they could only stay this age for 4 years, but alas they eventually begin to move!!!

Halloween Portraits at Mam's

It is almost that time again... Halloween and we can't wait to capture your "BOO-tiful" child!!!! We will be holding mini-sessions at Mam's Boutique in Cairo. There will be no session fees. Our studio will be at Mam's on October 24th from 9:00 -2:00. Beach Portraits on St. George Island

We are heading to the beach! So may of you have asked us to do beach portraits lately that we are taking your request to heart and heading to St. George Island in October. We will offer a limited number of beach sessions on October 10th, 11th, and 12th.

You may choose from a sunrise session or sunset sessions (yes if you choose the sunrise session you do get a discount for being an early riser.) A Smile to Stop the Show

L was exactly the kind of angel every photographer dreams of. She was sweet, patient, and kind- but with a little hint of sassiness!!! We had so much fun and I cannot believe how cute the pictures with the fan turned out!!!! What a doll!!!
